Overview

This website is operated by Anaïs Neumann, trading as Sew Into That (sewintothat.com), registered as a Kleinunternehmer under German law. Throughout these Terms, "I", "me", and "my" refer to Anaïs Neumann. By visiting this site and/or purchasing a product, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Sale. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

These Terms apply to all users of the site. I reserve the right to update them at any time by posting a revised version on this page. Your continued use of the site after any changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

This store is hosted via Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform through which products and services are made available to you.

Article 1 – Eligibility

By accepting these Terms, you confirm that you have reached the age of majority in your country or jurisdiction of residence, or that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use this site.

Article 2 – Products

All products sold on sewintothat.com are digital PDF sewing patterns. No physical products are available or will be shipped.

Product descriptions and prices are subject to change without notice. I reserve the right to withdraw any product from sale at any time.

Article 3 – Pricing and VAT

Prices are originally set in Euros (€), but will be converted to your local currency by Shopify if available.

Where applicable, VAT is applied at checkout in accordance with the laws of your country of residence. The final amount shown at checkout reflects the applicable rate for your location.

Prices are subject to change without notice.

Article 4 – Orders and Payment

I reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at my sole discretion — for example, in cases of suspected fraud, resale, or errors in pricing or product information.

You agree to provide accurate and complete billing information at the time of purchase. If an order is cancelled after payment, you will be notified by email.

Article 5 – Delivery

Upon successful payment, you will receive an automated email containing your order confirmation and download links. Delivery is immediate and entirely digital.

If you do not receive your confirmation email, please check your spam or junk folder. If the issue persists, contact me at anais@sewintothat.com.

Article 6 – Right of Withdrawal and Refund Policy

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU and its implementation in German law (§356 (5) BGB), consumers normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal from distance contracts.

However, this right does not apply to digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium, where the consumer has given prior express consent to immediate delivery and acknowledged that they thereby lose their right of withdrawal.

At checkout, you were presented with the following confirmation, which you accepted before completing your purchase:

"I agree to the terms and conditions and acknowledge that through the immediate delivery of any purchased digital content I thereby lose my right of withdrawal."

As a result, all sales are final. Refunds and exchanges are not available once a download has been delivered.

If you believe there is a fault with a file you have purchased, please contact me at anais@sewintothat.com and I will do my best to resolve it.

Article 7 – Intellectual Property

All patterns, designs, written instructions, graphics, and other content sold or published on sewintothat.com are the intellectual property of Anaïs Neumann and are protected by copyright law.

Purchasing a pattern grants you a personal, non-commercial licence to use it for your own private sewing projects. You may not reproduce, distribute, resell, share, or use the pattern or its contents for commercial purposes without my prior written consent.

Patterns may not be uploaded to file-sharing platforms, sold on secondary markets, or included in pattern bundles or subscriptions operated by third parties.

Article 8 – Acceptable Use

You agree to use this site and its contents only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Use the site or its content for any illegal or fraudulent purpose
  • Infringe the intellectual property rights of Sew Into That or any third party
  • Reproduce, resell, or distribute purchased content without authorisation
  • Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
  • Collect or misuse the personal data of other users

I reserve the right to terminate your access to the site for any breach of these conditions.

Article 9 – Third-Party Links and Tools

This site may contain links to third-party websites or tools. These are provided for convenience only. I have no control over third-party content and accept no responsibility for it. You access third-party sites at your own risk.

Article 10 – Personal Data and Privacy

The collection and use of your personal data is governed by my Privacy Policy.

Article 11 – Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of this site or any products purchased through it.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Article 12 – Consumer Rights (EU and International Buyers)

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer. For buyers based in the EU, mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence apply regardless of the governing law set out in Article 13.

If you are based in the EU and have a dispute that cannot be resolved directly, you may also have access to the European Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Article 13 – Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. For EU-based consumers, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply in addition to, and are not overridden by, this choice of law.

Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Germany, unless mandatory provisions of your local law require otherwise.

Article 14 – Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severed from the rest of the Terms, which shall remain in full force and effect.

Article 15 – Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other policies published on this site, constitute the entire agreement between you and me regarding your use of sewintothat.com and any purchases made through it.
